Dnyansadhana Marathi Medium School - Manori

Manori is a small village still reminiscent of the rural India as it’s separated from mainland Mumbai. Since more than 30 years, Manori village has a BMC Marathi medium school only till grade 7. Hence almost all students and especially girls used to drop out after 7th grade. Moved by this, to enable children to continue education, Mr. Prakash Pimple founded the Marathi medium school from 8th to 10th std in 1990. Gradually lower grades were started and now the school runs from Balvadi (Kindergarten) to grade 10. This aided school offers free quality education to children from the Adivasi hamlets  and Fisherfolk community in Manori village. More than 1000 students have passed out from the school in 30 years. The school building is located amidst nature and pretty close from the seashore. Starting small, we have developed the premises one step at a time over the years, to give best to our kids.

Rishi Valmiki Eco School - Goregaon

RVES – a state board English medium School was founded in 2010, in 4 BMC School classrooms near the slums of Bhagat Singh Nagar, Goregaon. Ms. Nikita Pimple laid this foundation with the dream of providing quality education to children from the weaker socioeconomic strata. The objective of the school is to bring 360 degree development in children by keeping nature & environment at its core. RVES believes it is a prime responsibility of the education sector, to develop a greener generation. We currently provide quality education to over 550 students.

Dnyansadhana Junior College of Commerce - Manori

Even after the high school was started at Manori, most students didn’t pursue education after grade 10, as there was no college. This often troubled Mr. Prakash Pimple, and to encourage children to pursue education even beyond high school, he started the Junior College of Commerce in 2014 in the same premises. More than 350 students have passed out in 6 years and are successfully working in various fields.

Another branch of RVES was started in Manori village in 2018 with the same philosophy. This is an English medium school that provides quality education to the children from fisherfolk community. They live in the lap of nature and nature education has a great impact on their development.
